The Parasky Flute Studios exist to promote and encourage the study of the flute via private lessons, flute ensembles and studio classes. Students will be provided with a means to develop a lifelong appreciation of music and the arts.
They will be exposed to the fundamentals of playing the flute, effective learning techniques, live musical performances, auditions and the importance of camaraderie and community service. Individualized curricula are developed for varying levels of skill from new beginners to potential music majors.
Mr. Parasky teaches lessons in both Murrysville and Wexford on a weekly format with occasional scheduled breaks in two terms per school year. The Academic Term runs from September-May and includes 30 lessons and multiple recitals. The Summer Term runs from June-August and includes up to 10 lessons and one large group educational activity. Attendance is expected at all lessons. .
A la carte lessons are also available to non-studio members for audition preparation, additional instruction or coaching sessions. These may be completed face to face or in a virtual format on an as needed basis for 60-minute time slots. Contact Mr. Parasky directly for more information regarding availability and pricing for non-studio member lessons.
